What is buttock lift

Buttock lift is a cosmetic surgical procedure aimed at enhancing the size, shape, and contour of the buttocks using fat grafting, commonly known as the Brazilian Butt Lift. This technique involves harvesting fat from other areas of the body through liposuction, purifying it, and then injecting it into the buttocks to create a fuller, more rounded, and aesthetically pleasing appearance. The procedure improves body proportions and enhances self-confidence.

Is buttock lift for me?

Buttock lift may be suitable for you if you desire a fuller, more rounded buttock appearance using fat grafting (Brazilian Butt Lift). Ideal candidates have sufficient excess fat in other areas of the body for harvesting, are in good overall health, and have realistic expectations. This procedure is perfect for those seeking to enhance their body proportions and boost their self-confidence.

During the procedure

During body sculpting, an anaesthetic solution is administered. The procedure begins with liposuction to harvest fat from areas such as the abdomen, thighs, or flanks. The extracted fat is then purified to remove any impurities. The purified fat is injected into specific areas of the buttocks in layers to achieve the desired fullness and contour. This process may involve multiple injections to ensure even distribution and a natural appearance. Once the desired shape is achieved, the incisions from liposuction are closed, and dressings are applied.

After buttock lift

  • Rest and Compression: Rest and wear specialized compression garments for 6 to 8 weeks to minimize swelling and support healing.

  • Wound Care: Keep incision sites clean and dry

  • Avoid Strenuous Activity: Refrain from heavy lifting and vigorous exercise for 6 weeks

  • Medication: Take prescribed pain relievers and antibiotics as directed

  • Sutures: Usually minimal and removed at 7 days
