What is a skin booster?

A skin booster is a unique injectable composed of either high concentrations of hyaluronic acid or of polynucleotides, which stimulates the production of collagen and elastin. The treatment involves injecting the skin booster into specific areas of the skin, where it spreads evenly and deeply hydrates the tissue. This results in smoother, plumper, and more youthful-looking skin. The procedure is minimally invasive, with little downtime, and is typically completed in two sessions spaced about a month apart.

During the procedure

During a skin booster, a numbing cream may be applied to the treatment area for comfort. The procedure involves injecting small amounts of skin booster into specific points in the skin, usually on the face, neck, or hands. These injections stimulate the production of collagen and elastin, improving skin hydration and firmness. The treatment typically takes about 30 minutes. There is minimal downtime, and you can return to normal activities immediately after the procedure. For optimal results, two sessions are usually recommended, spaced about a month apart.

After skin booster

  • Avoid Touching: Refrain from touching or massaging the treated areas for at least 24 hours.

  • Stay Upright: Avoid lying down for a few hours post-treatment.

  • Avoid Heat and Exercise: Steer clear of saunas, hot baths, and vigorous exercise for 24-48 hours.

  • Hydration: Drink plenty of water to stay hydrated.
